Last week Trumpet raised a $6M seed round and the very next day Nick (the CEO) broke the hearts of 200 BDRs who reached out. If you're one of these BDRs, this is how you can stand out next time.

There's nothing wrong with trigger-based outbound campaigns.

Nick pointed out nicely that just because a Startup received funding doesn't mean they're ready to spend it all on Day 1. However I disagree that you have to wait 2-3 months before you reach out.

By that time the action plan might have already been made.It's also 2-3 months you could have spent nurturing your Personas at that Startup so by the time you do reach out, they have a reason to trust you.
